Perry Neighborhood Connection Coalition

Perry Neighborhood Connection (PNCC) Coalition

Would you like to get involved in creating a healthier community? Try attending our next Perry Neighborhood Connection meeting.

The PNCC is a community-based coalition that is open to the public and is led by our CHC Grant Coordinator, Jenny LaRue. The PNC is designed to link agencies, organizations, businesses, and residents, giving members an opportunity to share their missions, programs, and upcoming events.

Vision

To create healthy communities in Perry County.

Mission

Making the healthy choice the easy choice.

Strategic Goals

Active living, healthy food access, reducing tobacco use, increasing mobility, supporting positive mental health, and sharing community education.

The coalition puts those goals into action by:

  • Community education — through community projects, announcements, flyers, and conversation circles
  • Sharing at PNC meetings — flyers and conversation circles
  • Offering and promoting Live Healthy, Live Well through OSU Extension

Meetings

The 3rd Tuesday of even-numbered months at 9:00 AM (February, April, June, August, October, and December).

The meeting location changes each time — check the webpage before each meeting, or ask to be added to the PNC email list for regular updates.
